30 Most Famous DJs

DJ-ing definitely is a universe of its own. It has its own set of gods that fans worship like mad. Hopefully, there'd be goddesses in the near future, but... first, let's muse over these 30 names that rock club parties like it's nobody else's business.

30. Zedd

Maybe if he smiled wider he would've ranked higher. Come on... 'Break Free'! By the way, his track 'Clarity' won him a Grammy (and a bit of Selena Gomez ha!).

29. Ferry Corsten

He is one of the trance music pioneers. One of the fathers, world. His radio show Corsten's Countdown is making his fans super happy and groovy on a weekly basis.

28. Paul Oakenfold

No way, this is just Matt Damon DJ-ing! Nope? He was DJ Magazine's top artist in the years 1998 and 1999.

27. The Chemical Brothers

They got four Grammy trophies they're smooching each time they wake up. And, thank these guys for instilling big beat to the pop culture's senses.

26. Diplo

Let's admit it... though he got big, loud opinions, he's still talented AF. He co-produced lots of the songs in Madonna's latest album, 'Rebel Heart'. He's obsessed with dinosaurs, thus the name and the state of mind.

25. Steve Angello

He's the last "third" of the Swedish House Mafia guys to be featured right here. In a previous interview, he confessed he's been talking to pop music mogul Scooter Braun. What kind of awesome are they going to create?

24. Alesso

Did you know that Madonna, the effin' Queen of Pop, predicted that Alesso is (and we quote) "the next big thing in dance music"? Say whuttt! 'Heroes' with Tove Lo is one of the most addictive songs ever.

23. Nicky Romero

His collaboration with Avicii, 'I Could Be the One', was a massive hit in the U.K. That 'Toulouse' thing he did is also laudable.

22. Dash Berlin

This is somewhat a collaborative project, ladies and gents. The group's 'Better Off Alone' was one of the earliest EDM/Trance records that turned out massive in the U.S.A. They're, say, a bit of a pioneer.

21. ATB

His 1999 track '9 PM (Till I Come)' reached the top spot of the UK Charts. To add, he's the top DJ of The DJ List back in 2011. Cool.

20. Martin Garrix

It's 'Animals' that quite catapulted this Dutch producer slash DJ to immense popularity. 'Wizard' is also worth mentioning.

19. Sebastian Ingrosso

He's also the "better third" of the now disbanded Swedish House Mafia. But, his life goes on as an awesome DJ. Good for him.

18. Carl Cox

He has ten DJ Awards trophies. Also, he is DJ List's top Global Techno and Techno House DJ. So, no one better mess with him.

17. Above & Beyond

This Brit trance trio's talent is just so above and so beyond (no pun intended). Catch them in their weekly radio show, Group Therapy Radio.

16. Kaskade

DJ Times named him "America's Best DJ 2011". Also in 2013. That said, he must be one famous DJ. What do you think?

15. Axwell

He's the "better third" of Swedish House Mafia (because there are three of them in there, right?). He runs his own record label dubbed Axtone Records.

14. Hardwell

He has his own podcast slash radio show called Hardwell on Air. Plus, he has his own record label--Revealed Recordings (founded in 2010).

13. Benny Benassi

Back in 2002, he had this successful club track entitled 'Satisfaction'. But, even until now, he still murders (not literally) any piece of club tune that comes his way.

12. Paul van Dyk

He doesn't want his music called trance music but electronic music. Got it? Some of his hit remixes are called 'For an Angel' and Humate's 'Love Stimulation'.

11. Steve Aoki

He's American though he looks Asian. He's already collaborated with the likes of Iggy Azalea, will.i.am, and LMFAO.

10. Calvin Harris

Should we mention that he's Taylor Swift's boyfriend? And, that he's the groove behind Rihanna's 'We Found Love'? And, the picture has been unintentionally selected.

9. Afrojack

Look at that... boss! His debut album, which was released just last year, is called 'Forget the World'. And, that's the same, exact feeling each time you participate in his gigs.

8. Daft Punk

This French duo knows how to parteey! 'Random Access Memories'? 'Get Lucky'? Of course, you know about them!

7. Deadmau5

Obviously, that isn't his real facial structure. At the moment, he's one of the highest earning electronic artists in the whole wide world.

6. Skrillex

That iconic hairdo, though. He owns six Grammy awards. Please excuse him as he's currently taking a vacation

5. Swedish House Mafia

Three Swedish guys rolled into one piece of talent and genius and awesomeness rolled into one yet again. The first thing to come to anyone's mind is 'Don't You Worry Child'.

4. David Guetta

"I am titaaaaaaaaaaaaaniiiiiuuumm..." Who doesn't effing know this? This French man's 'When Love Takes Over' is Billboard magazine's top dance-pop collaboration of all time!

3. Avicii

This Taylor Swift look-alike is a Grammy-nominated Swedish DJ. Talk about hit tracks like 'Hey Brother' and 'Wake Me Up'.

2. Armin van Buuren

His radio show amasses 33 million listeners a week in a total of 84 countries. Just chill. If it's trance music we're talking about, it's definitely Armin van Buuren that slays it like a pro.

1. Tiesto

Putting this Dutch guy right here at this rank is as easy as pie. One of his latest, successful exploits is his remix of John Legend's 'All of Me', which won him a goddarn Grammy for Best Remixed Recording, Non-classical. Amazeballs!
